Membership Criteria -Completed application -Recommendations from teachers -Parental approval -Ability or strong desire in technology -Maintains high standards	The East Garner Magnet Middle School SWAT Team was formed in the Fall semester of 2007 in alignment with the national SWAT organization. SWAT's mission is to promote student leadership training, address technology competencies, and provide outreach to the community through parental involvement, corporate support, and student community service.
